Rewo is an Illinois-based activist and artist. Their interests include digital art, painting, knitting, dancing, accessible healthcare, and overall wellbeing. One of Rewo’s core beliefs is that art can be used to explore one’s emotional depth and be a catalyst for raising awareness around social causes. As an artist with Sickle Cell Disease, they are particularly interested in raising awareness and improving mental health within this population. This has played an important role in supporting their belief that everyone deserves access to culturally competent and kind health care.
